Sirsi: An aged person, who took pesticide died failing to respond to treatment at TSS Hospital on Wednesday.

The deceased Chikkayya Pujari (83), a resident of Menasi Bhagwatapal, in the taluk, was suffering from severe stomach ache from last several days and unable to bear it, he had consumed pesticide on July 24. Later, he was admitted to the private hospital.

A case has been registered at the rural police station.
