Mangaluru: In the wake of recent terror attacks in Bangladesh and Turkey, authorities have beefed up security at Mangaluru International Airport. 

The ban was placed following a security alert in view of the attack on the Ataturk Airport, Turkey, said Airport Director J T Radhakrishna in a press release here. 

Entry of visitors to the terminal building at the Airport has been banned for seven days from Friday. He said that the Airport entry tickets would not be sold during this period.
