Mangaluru: The inauguration of the Mini Vidhana Soudha will occur shortly during the first week of October by CM Siddaramaiah, said, district in-charge minister Ramanath Rai.
Addressing at a meeting held at Deputy commissioner’s office on 18th September, Monday, he said, “The Mini Vidhana Soudha building is being built at a cost of Rs 9.98 crore. Even the work on KSRTC bus stand is in the final stage. The bus stand is being built at a cost of Rs 10.7 crore and will be completed in next 10 days.”
He also discussed the progress in the developmental works which are due in the Bantwal taluk. He said that the inspection bunglow and MESCOM building are in the final stages of construction, while the 100 bed Bantwal taluk hospital will also be completed soon.
He talked about various other developmental projects and also announced that a three day state level chess tournament will be organised from 10th October under the aegis of St. Aloysius school for which around 68 judges including five national level judges will be present.
Mangaluru city corporation mayor Kavita Sanil, additional deputy commissioner Kumar alongside others were present at the meeting.
