Mangaluru: A case was reported near Ullal Dargah where a gang of 15 members made its way into a house forcibly and assaulted the family members after vandalizing the house on 2nd September, Saturday.
According to the victims, the attack was made during midnight at around 11:30 pm on Saturday when the miscreants barged into the house belonging to Qasim in search of his son Hamza.
However when they were unable to find him, they assaulted Qasim, his wife Maimuna, children Sohail and Amin. The assailants were armed with sabre, hatchets, machetes etc.
In addition to damaging things inside the house, the miscreants also damaged windows and doors of the house, the victims said. The injured members have been admitted to a private hospital.
A case has been registered at Ullal police station and investigation is in progress.
