Mangaluru: A passenger suffered injuries as the roof ceiling above the current ticket booking counter at the Mangaluru Central Railway Station collapsed on 27th July, Thursday noon.

The passenger named Biju, is undergoing treatment at a hospital now.

According to the sources, many could have been injured in what could have been a serious case. But as the footfall was very few during the time, not many were affected.

During Thursday noon, as the passengers were waiting on the platform, a roof plaster of 2 ft by 2 ft dimension came down even as iron scaffolding of the roof became visible at the spot.
