Mangaluru: A 17-year-old student of Alva’s College ended her life by committing suicide at her hostel here at Moodbidri near Mangaluru on Wednesday, 12th September.

The deceased has been identified as Vinutha R, daughter of Ramachandra, a resident of Bengaluru.

Vinutha was a student at Alva’s College pursuing education in science stream.

The Reason for the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.

Moodbidri police have registered a case in this regard.
