Mangaluru:  The district police arrested two more youths in connection with a dacoity reported in a house at Chattekallu near Sampaje in Sullia taluk on March 20. The number of accused arrested in the case has increased to 6.

According to Superintendent of Police Rishikesh Sonawane, the arrested were identified as Senthil from Erode and Paandiselvam from Madurai in Tamil Nadu.

The police have recovered 71.52 grams of gold ornaments, Rs 11,590 cash and two vehicles used for committing the dacoity. The gang had allegedly burgled one Ambarish's house in Chattekallu village. Another complainant Asha, had stated that Rs 1.52 lakh cash and 83 grams of gold ornaments were found missing from the house.
