Bhatkal: District incharge Minister RV Deshpande on Saturday, 5th January, inaugurated the newly laid tar road connecting Anjuman college here in Bhatkal.

Around 1.5 crore rupees was sanctioned by Karnataka State Minorities department in the year 2017-18 for the the construction of new road to college.

Speaking in the centennial celebration event after inaugurating, Minister Deshpande said that the credit of this work should go to the then education Minister Tanveer Sait and former MLA Mankal Vaidya.

On this occasion Bhatkal MLA Sunil Naik, ZP president Jayashree Moger, Vinayak Shet and others were present.
