Bhatkal: MLA Sunil Naik called a meeting with Bhatkal taluka administration to discuss about the upgradtion works that can be done at Bhatkal taluka stadium.

Speaking with the authorities, MLA Sunil Naik said that Government has sanctioned 1 crore rupees to carry development works of Bhatkal taluka stadium. Running tracks, washrooms, tennis courts among many other things can be installed in the ground. There is a school in the ground, which may have to shift in different place in order to carry out the stadium upgradation work.

On this occasion Bhatkal TMC president Sadique Matta, district sports officer Gayatri, regional educational officer M.R Munji, Bhatkal TMC chief officer Devaraj, Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation president Imtiyaz Udyawar, Federation secretary Naseef Khalifa, Young Muslim Service Association vice-president Arfath Askeri among others were present in the meeting.
