Sirsi: Motorist killed on the spot, while the pillion sustained gruesome injuries after the bike in which they were riding collided a roadside boulder in Hulekal region in Sirsi taluk on Sunday late night.

The deceased is identified as Ajay DAsain, a resident of Ramabail.

Prasanna Naik, who was riding pillion, sustained severe injuries and has been admitted in a hospital.

Sirsi rural CPI Shivkumar visited the spot and conducted the necessary investigations.
