Mundgod: A youth, while playing during Ganesha immersion procession unfortunately fell on the ground uncountoiusly, which reported on 14th September Wednesday in Mundgod. 

The deceased youth has been traced as Kiran Chalavadi (20), an Old-Hubli based resident staying in Mundgod.

Sources say, the deceased had arrived to Mundgod from Hubli to his relatives home with the intention to engage the Ganesha immersion ceremony. While dancing in the procession, the victim unfortunately fell on the ground, after which he was immediately rushed to government hospital for treatment. Later he succumbed in the hospital, before the treatment began.

In this regard, a case has been registered in Mundgod police station.
