Bhatkal: SahilOnline got the copies of the police report which mentioned the reasons behind exiling Murdeshwar Sri Rama Sene leader Jayanth Naik for three months.
According to the report, Jayanth Naik was arrested several times in the past for spoiling the peaceful atmosphere of the place, after which he used to easily get released on bail. As per the police reports submitted to deputy commissioner, it is mentioned that Jayanth Naik was popularly known for vitiating the atmosphere of the place. He was apprehended for encouraging Hindu youths against Muslims for silly pretext, and always indulged in trying to harm the peace of place. Especially, he used to spread hatred in Murdeshwar by igniting unwanted rumors.
Coming to the issue of Murdeshwar graveyard, Jayanth Naik was known for mischievous role in the place. He had also forcefully held Hindu funerals there which sometimes lead to assault on Muslim youths.
Police says that, even after filing dozens of cases against Jayanth, he easily gets released by bail and further continues his same efforts in disturbing the atmosphere.
According to the source, after studying the police reports, deputy commissioner Mr. S Nakul, passed an order against him to exile Jayanth Naik from the borders of the district.
It may be noted that, following the order, the police have currently debarred him out of coastal region of the district for 3 months.
