Kumta: A young sportsman from Karnataka's coastal city Kumta, Naazim Javed Khan will represent India in 'Para Asian regional table tennis championship', which will be held at Beijing in China from 23rd August till 31st August, 2017. Around 12 players from various states including Naazim Javed Khan from Karnataka have been selected for this championship game in China.
Speaking to SahilOnline Kumta correspondent, Naazim said that he obtained two years of coaching in Maharashtra Mandal table tennis club at Hubli. As a player, he always participated in various levels of table tennis matches held across the country. Recently in July 2017, he participated in the selection trials held at Madhya Pradesh, and as a result, he bagged second rank and eventually got selected to play for the 'Para Asian regional table tennis championship' in China.
It might be noted that, Naazim also participated in the Para table tennis games held at Thailand in the year 2013. Other than this, Naazim is a student of Karnataka institute of medical science in Hubli, studying MBBS.
For his upcoming championship in China, various organizations of Kumta including the management of Kumta JamatUl Muslimeen, North Kanara Muslim United Forum, Kumta muslim association, Ideal education trust, Al-Ittihad committee Kumta and many others have congratulated him and wished him all the success in the upcoming games.
