Ajman: Abu Dhabi Riders star all-rounder Anas Mulla has credited the overall team effort behind their nail-biting six-wicket victory in their must-win NGT Bhatkal Premier League against RB Warriors at the Ajman Oval Ground in UAE on Sunday.
Abu Dhabhi Riders relied heavily on Musab Khattal’s 34 runs knock, Syed Afzan's 24, Rasique's 25 and Anas Mulla's 15 not out to help the team cross the line in the 19.5 overs and kept alive hopes of securing a berth in the semifinals.
Chasing a target of 139, Syed Afzan and Musab Khattal provided stability in the innings by stitching a 65-run partnership for the second wicket after Sarfaraz Jukaku was dismissed cheaply.
Earlier, RB warriors were restricted to 138-9 in their stipulated 20 overs with some outstanding fielding and bowling performance.
Imran Khateeb (38), Jafar Tousif (28), Sarfaraz Mubarak (33)* were top scorers. All the bowlers of Abu Dhabi riders bagged two wickets each.
