Ajman: Shamoon Shabandri s' five-wicket haul and Sarfraz Jukaku's 44-run knock helped Abu Dhabi Riders defeat AUZ challengers by 57 runs here at NGT BPL 2022 in Ajman Oval Stadium on Sunday.

With this win, Abu Dhabi Riders have moved to the third spot in the points table.

Chasing 148, AUZ Challengers failed to get any sort of momentum and the side was restricted to 90 in 17th over.

Shamoon Shabandri bowled four over given away 22 runs and bagged five top batsman.

Earlier, Sarfaraz played an knock of 44 runs, Rasique Jubapu(19 and Unbeaten Anas Mulla 24 off 18balls as Abu Dhabi Riders posted a total of 147/6 in the allotted twenty overs.

For AUZ, Nawar Kharuri bagged two wickets conceding 33 runs.
