Byndoor: Former chief minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Thursday ridiculed that BJP leaders, including B S Yeddyurappa and Shobha Karandlaje, are all in an illusion that BJP will come to power and Yeddyurappa will be made chief minister.
He told media persons that the coalition government is strong and the Congress-JD(S) will continue in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. "There is no threat to the government," he claimed.
He expressed confidence that Congress and JD(S) coalition will win all the byelection seats. To a question, Siddaramaiah said that the past has been forgotten. The feeling of bitterness with JD(S) has disappeared. Both congress and JD(S) have joined hands to defeat the communal BJP, he said adding that the Lok Sabha byelection will be a decisive factor in the country’s political future.
