Karwar: Orientation programme for the job aspirants who have applied for the November 12 and 13 mega job fair will begin at various taluks fair will begin at various taluks from November 2.
The aspirants, who had applied online for registration, were first trained at Karwar recently. Second level training for these aspirants will be held as per the itinerary. The aspirants from Sirsi and Siddapur will trained on November 2 from 9:00 am at MES Carmel’s College in Sirsi, while the aspirants of Yellapur and Mundgod taluks will be held at YTSS College on the same day from 2:00 pm.
On November 3, experts will train three batches of aspirants at Gokale Centenary College in Ankola from 9:00 am, 11:45 am and 3:00 pm. In Bhatkal the training will be held on November 4 from 9:15 am at Shri Guru Sudhindra College Bhatkal, in Honnavar taluk, the training will be held at SDM College Honnavar at 1:45pm.
Two batches of aspirants from Kumta will get training on November 5 at Vidyadhiraj Polytechnic College, In Haliyal the experts will train the candidates at VRDIT Engineering College on November 6 at 9:30 am and in Joida taluk training will be held at Government Polytechnic on the same day.
Whereas Karwar taluk candidates will get training on November 4 at Rangamandir.
More than 150 reputed companies from Bengaluru, Goa, Pune, Mumbai and others places are expected to take part in the employment fair. More than 11,500 employment aspirants expected to participate from the district as well as from the neighbouring districts.
All the registered aspirants will get an SMS alert regarding the training and information about the job fair.
Deputy Commissioner S S Nakul, in a press release, has asked the aspirants to participate in the training camps and improve their chances of employability.
