Mangaluru: A car parked at Shaktinagar reportedly caught fire on Tuesday evening. Sources said a woman had arrived in the car along with her dog for a walk in a nearby park. She is learnt to have left her mobile phone in the car for charging. When she came back, she saw smoke emanating from the vehicle. She immediately moved away from the car and within no time the car was in flames, sources said.

A fire tender was pressed into action.
