Kota: In an accident reported here at National Highway 66 in Kota, an old pedestrian lost his life after being hit by a truck on 18th September, Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Ismail Kaka (48 yrs), a resident of Kota.
According to sources, Ismail was waiting to cross the road on Monday when, a driver of a truck which was moving on the National Highway 66 lost control and hit him. Locals gathered at the spot to help but Ismail succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
Rash and negligent driving is said to be the cause for the accident.
A case has been registered at Kota police station.
