Karwar: The State election commission has announced timetable to conduct by-pools for Zilla Panchayat and taluk Panchayat seats that were vacant due to various reasons.

Deputy Commissioner will issue poll notifications on November 7. November 10 is last date to submit nomination papers, the papers will be scrutinised on November 11 and November 14 is last date for withdrawing the papers.

Polling will be held on November 20 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. If required re-election can be held on November 22 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
