In a tragic incident in Bihar’s Saran district, a 15-year-old boy lost his life following a disastrous gall bladder stone removal surgery performed by an unqualified practitioner, who is now on the run. The incident took place at the Ganpati Seva Sadan clinic in Madhaura, operated by one Ajit Kumar Puri, who has been accused of impersonating a doctor.

The teenager was initially brought to Puri's clinic on Friday night by his family, who sought treatment for vomiting and severe abdominal pain. Despite the boy's deteriorating condition, Puri proceeded with surgery without the family's consent or prior knowledge. It has been alleged that Puri relied on YouTube videos as his sole guide for the operation.

As the surgery progressed, the boy's condition worsened significantly. Family members, alarmed by his worsening state, confronted Puri, who reportedly dismissed their concerns with the remark, “Am I the doctor here or you?” The situation escalated when Puri decided to transfer the boy to a hospital in Patna. Tragically, the teenager died before reaching the hospital. Puri and his accomplices abandoned the boy's body at the hospital and fled the scene.

The family has lodged a formal complaint with local authorities, accusing Puri of severe negligence and malpractice. They claim that he was neither qualified nor experienced, and that his reckless actions directly contributed to their son's death. An FIR has been filed against Puri and his clinic staff, and police are actively searching for them.

The boy’s body has been sent for a postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of death. Meanwhile, the clinic remains under scrutiny, and efforts are underway to track down Puri and any staff involved.
