Bhatkal: The Annual Day celebration of Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Application (AIMCA) Bhatkal for the academic year 2022-2023 was celebrated on Saturday with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Chief Guest, Dr. Nayana, Assistant Commissioner of Bhatkal, addressed the students and highlighted that student life is a golden journey filled with opportunities for exploring and discovering passions. Drawing from her own experience of graduating in 2013, where only 5 out of 150 students pursued careers in civil service, she emphasized the significance of conviction and passion. She urged students to nurture conviction as it propels them forward with unwavering passion.
Dr. Nayana encouraged the graduating students to relentlessly chase their dreams and never relinquish their passions. She also reminded them that student life is a phase for enjoyment and memory-making that will last a lifetime. She congratulated the graduating students and acknowledged the university rank achievers, while expressing her wishes for the institution's ongoing success in securing university ranks.
Speaking to the audience, the Guest of Honour, Mohiddin Ruknuddin, Secretary, College Board at Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management, stressed that after completing their degrees, the most crucial role awaiting the students is that of a responsible citizen. He further underlined that it is through struggles and failures that individuals learn and grow, ultimately fostering responsible citizenship. He attributed the drive to persevere through challenges to one's passion, asserting that the combination of commitment, passion, and proactive steps can lead to positive impacts on the nation and community.
During the event, prizes were bestowed upon students who brought distinction to the institution through their academic and extracurricular accomplishments.
Four exceptional students were recognized, Sandeep secured the 1st rank in the University BCA exam, while Aysha Rufi achieved the first rank. Additionally, Wasira Shingeti obtained the eighth rank and Eifa Siddibapa attained the ninth rank in the BBA university examination. These students were honored with certificates, mementos, and a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 each by Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen.
Furthermore, fourteen students who achieved a perfect score of 100 out of 100 in their respective pursuits were presented with a cash prize of Rs. 1,000 each by Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen.
The event was presided over by Mohammed Sadique Pillor, Vice President of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Bhatkal.
The Program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by translations in English, Urdu, and Kannada. Inspirational performances including a Hamd and Naat were also part it. Mohammed Taloot Muallim, Vice-Principal, initiated the event with a warm welcome, followed by introductions by the Student General Secretaries of the College, Rubain Gangawali and Jumana Afreen Siddi Ahmeda. Principal Mohammed Mohsin presented the Annual report of the College, and Waleed Muniri delivered the vote of thanks.
