Bhattkal: The body of Syed Shabbir (68), who had been missing for three days from the neighboring area of Shiroor, under the Byndoor police station jurisdiction in Udupi district, was found today, Tuesday, in a field in the Mudramakki area of Shiroor. Preliminary inspection suggests that his death likely occurred three days ago. It is suspected that he may have fallen due to low blood pressure. To determine the exact cause of death, the body has been sent to the forensic laboratory at KMC Hospital in Manipal, where a post-mortem will be conducted before the body is returned to Shiroor.

Syed Shabbir had left his home in the Muslim Mohalla area around 9:00 AM on November 16th to go to the market but did not return. A missing person report was filed at the Byndoor Police Station. According to sources, around 10:00 AM this morning, an electric lineman passing through the field noticed the body and immediately alerted the police. Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot, and Syed Shabbir's family identified the body. The location where the body was found is approximately one kilometer away from his home.

It is believed that after going to the market, Syed Shabbir was returning home via an internal route when he fell in the field and passed away there.

A case has been registered at the Byndoor Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
