Bhatkal: The Annual Day Celebration of Anjuman Pre-University College was held at the college campus in Bhatkal on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
Addressing the gathering, the chief guest, Moulana Mohammed Samaan Khalifa Nadvi, a lecturer at Jamia Islamia Bhatkal, expressed his happiness over the students' activeness and interest in education. He stated that students should work hard to achieve their set goals in life.
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Sawood Damudi (Chartered Accountant), firmly believes that individuals should cultivate a clear vision or purpose in their lives, asserting that education extends beyond the acquisition of knowledge and skills solely for personal gain. He emphasizes the importance of viewing education as a powerful tool for contributing to the well-being of the broader community.
While underscoring the importance of community service and the role of lawyers in societal betterment, Mr. Sawood emphasizes that students should pursue their studies not solely to fulfill personal dreams but to actively participate in creating a positive impact on the world around them.
For the year 2023-2024, as part of the annual literacy competition, Abdul Hannan, son of Askeri Mohammed Hafeez, was awarded champion, and in the Annual Athletic Sports, the champion was Mr. Zeeshan. The Best NCC candidate for the year was awarded to Mohammed Laat.
Mohammed Tamsheer, Mehran Hussain Muallim, and Zakir Hamdan Samiuallah Ittal expressed their feelings about the two-year journey in college.
Meanwhile, several students were awarded trophies, certificates, and cash prizes for their performance and achievements in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities during the academic year.
Anjuman BBA & BCA College Secretary Aftab Qamri presided over the function.
The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an by Anas Siddibapa, followed by the Naat by Hood Siddibapa, Gazal by Ali Shaaz Arma, while College Function Chairman Professor Ismail Gassan Chamundi welcomed guests. Principal Mohammed Yusuf Kola presented the annual report, and Professor Abdul Raheem Khan delivered the vote of thanks.

On this occasion, Secretary College Board Dr. Syed Saleem SM and others were present on the dais.
