Karwar: A banker lost his life after his two wheeler hit a car near RTO office, Karwar. The accident occurred on Monday.  

The deceased has been identified as Gurudas Bandekar (55). He was working as a General Manager at the Karwar Urban Bank.  

According to police, Gurudas was wearing an open-face helmet at the time of the accident. Despite this, he sustained severe head injuries in the collision. The driver of the car, in an attempt to assist, rushed Gurudas to a hospital. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries en route to the medical facility. A case had been registered at traffic police station.
