In a remarkable demonstration of determination and resilience, not only young children but also visually impaired individuals are achieving the feat of memorizing the Quran and safeguarding its verses within their hearts.

A shining example of this charismatic Quranic memorization comes from Bhatkal, where a young female student, despite suffering from a nervous disease and facing physical constraints, successfully memorized the entire Qur'an in a short span of four years. It is noteworthy that she faced a significant challenge, being unable to read properly, but she overcame this obstacle by diligently listening to her teacher's recitations.

This extraordinary achievement took place at the Quran memorization department of Naunihal Central School in Bhatkal. Gul Afroz Kola, the headmistress of the school, shared the inspiring story with Sahil Online. When Udaisa Asif Subedar's mother brought her to the school four years ago and explained her condition, the faculty was uncertain about how to proceed with her education. However, upon learning of the mother's desire for Udaisa to memorize the Qur'an, the girl herself confidently expressed her determination to achieve this goal. Witnessing her unwavering dedication and passion, the school's Hifz teacher, Zainab Parveen SJ, took on the challenge and successfully guided Udaisa through the memorization process by oral means.

Naunihal Central School is renowned for its excellence in education in Bhatkal and has consistently achieved 100% pass rates in SSLC exams for many years. In 2010, the school established a department for Quran memorization, which proved to be a great success. Students from diverse educational backgrounds who showed interest in memorizing the Quran were included in the Hifz Quran class. To date, more than 50 students have been blessed with the ability to memorize the Quran under the school's guidance.
