Udupi: Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara has accused the BJP of intentionally creating confusion regarding the Congress party's guarantee schemes, such as 'Griha Jyoti.'

He advised the public to disregard the rumors being spread by the BJP about these initiatives. The government has meticulously calculated the expenses required to fulfill their electoral promises, using a 12-month calculation with a 10% increase.

The minister emphasized that there is no differentiation between Below Poverty Line (BPL) and Above Poverty Line (APL) beneficiaries for the Griha Jyoti scheme.

He also stated that the government is committed to ensuring accountability and transparency by implementing a few necessary requirements. The primary objective remains the empowerment of the underprivileged. Dr G Parameshwara expressed his lack of interest in responding to the BJP's allegations and inquiries.
