In recognition of their academic excellence for the year 2023-24, silver medals were awarded to Aysha Renan D/o Mohammed Ansar Shoupa, and Fathima Seraa D/o Abdul Azeem Gangawali. The silver medals for the outstanding students of the year 2022-23 were conferred upon Maria D/o Mussadique Ali Akbara, and Fathima Samha D/o Mujeeb SM.

Fathima Arfa, a holder of a Masters in Public Health and currently serving as a research intern at Iqraa Hospital and Research Centre in Kerala, delivered a compelling speech as the chief guest during the annual gathering. In her role as a dedicated Health Educator, she underscored the paramount importance of education for girls in this generation. Arfa also took the opportunity to dispel misconceptions about hijab, firmly asserting that it is not a form of oppression but rather a personal choice. She urged individuals to make their own decisions, particularly in matters of attire.

Drawing from her own life experiences, Arfa shared instances of breaking stereotypes that often confine women to traditional roles, specifically debunking the notion that women should be confined to the kitchen. She attributed her success to the support of her parents, who fostered a positive environment for her dreams to flourish

Arfa seamlessly connected the dots between health and education in her speech, emphasizing and encouraging students to prioritize self-care. She underscored that maintaining a healthy body and mind is essential for effective learning.

Guest of Honor Kalpana N Talgeri, Assistant Teacher at Anjuman Girls High School, Bhatkal, spoke about the significance of children preparing for exams without fear and putting in hard work. As exams approach, she emphasized the need for diligent effort and hard work.

The gathering was presided over by Mrs. Seema Kashimji, a member of the Ladies Advisory Committee, Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Bhatkal.

The program commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Zainab Barmawar, followed by a Naat by Zainab Kazia. Shamayeela and Team sang the Anjuman Tarana song. The event was welcomed by Miss Sameera. Headmistress Saba Damda presented the annual school report and Miss Zainab Shaikh delivered the vote of thanks.
