Eid-ul-Azha namaz to be offered at all Jamia masjids in Bhatkal due to heavy rain in Coastal Karnataka

Bhatkal: Coastal Karnataka, including Bhatkal, has been experiencing heavy rain for the past week. As a result, the Eidgah Committee in Bhatkal has decided to offer Eid-ul-Azha prayers in all Jamia Masjids of Bhatkal.

According to the prayer timings issued by the Bhatkal Eidgah Committee, Eid-ul-Azha prayers will be offered at:

7:00 AM at Bhatkal Main Jamia Masjid, Khalifa Jamia Masjid, Tanzeem Millia Juma Masjid (Nawayat Colony), Makhdoomiya Juma Masjid (Makhdoom Colony), and Bilal Juma Masjid (Muglihonda).
7:15 AM at Madina Colony Juma Masjid, Noor Juma Masjid, Abuzar Juma Masjid, (Gulmi), Hamza Juma Masjid (Jali), Badria Juma Masjid (Badriya Colony), Ahmed Saeed Juma Masjid (Hurlisal), and Imam Bukhari Juma Masjid (Salmanabad).
7:30 AM at Bhatkal Tengingundi Juma Masjid.
7:15 AM at Jamia Abad Sayidna Ibrahim Juma Masjid.
8:00 AM at Shirali Masjid Rehmaniya and Shirali Ali Miyan Masjid.
In Murdeshwar, Eid prayers will be offered at 6:40 AM in all five Juma Masjids: Murdeshwar Jamia Masjid, Noor Juma Masjid, Ghousia Masjid, Hussain Masjid, and Muhammadiya Masjid.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Muslims will offer animal sacrifices to Allah, continuing the tradition.

To maintain law and order and ensure a peaceful celebration, the police department in Karwar held a peace meeting on Saturday, attended by Muslim leaders from almost all taluks of Uttara Kannada district. The meeting, led by the District SP, emphasized celebrating Eid within the bounds of law and with full enthusiasm.

Additionally, social organizations like Majlis e Islahan Wa Tanzim and the Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation have issued necessary instructions and conducted meetings to ensure peace during Eid-ul-Azha. Youths have been urged to adhere to the instructions issued by the Tanzeem.

It should be noted that Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated across India from Monday, while in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and other Gulf countries, it is being celebrated from Sunday.
