Honnavar: Mohammed Abu Talha Sheikh (47)  of Honnavar passed away on Monday after being bitten by a cobra during a snake-catching attempt at a Jankadkal house three months ago. 

The auto-rickshaw driver, also known for his snake-catching skills, had been undergoing treatment since the incident. 

Sheikh succumbed to the snakebite while in the hospital.
