Mangaluru: An 1.5-year-old named Ayesha lost her life after accidentally falling into a bucket of water while playing at Kavoor on Thursday.

The incident occurred while the toddler's mother was in the kitchen and Ayesha was playing happily inside the house and inadvertently stumbled into the bathroom, where she tragically fell headfirst into a bucket filled with water. Despite immediate efforts to save her, the child was swiftly rushed to the hospital. However, it was too late, and the medical team declared her deceased.

The parents of the little girl are daily wage laborers who hail from Jharkhand.
