Bhatkal: A tragic head-on collision occurred between two motorcycles near the TMC Waste Disposal Treatment Plant on Sagar Road, resulting in the instantaneous death of one biker and injuries to another.

The deceased has been identified as Sridhara Jattappa Naik, a resident of Yalwadikavoor. He was traveling from Marukeri to Bhatkal when the incident took place.

The injured biker, Lokesh Gond, has been promptly transferred to Kundapur Hospital for further medical treatment.

A case has been registered at the rural police station.
