Bhatkal: New English P.U Collge along with Friends Association host a public awareness program and jatha promoting a drug-free society.

The program was inaguarted  by  Bhatkal DySP Srikanta. He highlighted the dangers of drug addiction, particularly for 12-18 year olds. 

Dr. Bhavyashree, a psychiatrist, detailed the physical and mental effects of substance abuse, urging parents to stay vigilant and guide their children. 

Virendra Shanbag, principal of New English P.U., further emphasized the importance of raising awareness. The program culminated in a procession through the town, rallying the community against the scourge of drugs.
