Mangaluru (TNN): Deputy leader of the opposition in the legislative assembly UT Khader said that Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification as member of Parliament was an attack on the parliamentary laws and democracy. Speaking to reporters here on Friday, he said that the disqualification was also an assault on the nation. 

“Will those who do not allow Rahul Gandhi speak, give the freedom of speech to the people? They were targeting Rahul in different ways when he was speaking truth. People of the nation have decided that Rahul is their leader as he continued to speak truth fearlessly,” Khader said.

 “The BJP is scared of Rahul, ” said Khader, adding that each truth spoken by the Congress leader creates tremors in the BJP. “The BJP is afraid that their true colours will be known to the people,” Khader said.
