Kasargod: A collision between a car and a bike near Chemnad in Bekal police station limits claimed the life of a young student on Monday.

The victim, identified as Safrazul Aman (20) of Chemnad, succumbed to his injuries despite immediate efforts to rush him to the hospital. He was a student at a private college in Mangaluru.

The Bekal police have registered a case.
