Sirsi: School Education & Literacy Minister Madhu Bangarappa said on Monday that the Congress party is open to welcoming leaders from any party. He said that the only condition is that the leader should accept the ideology of the Congress.

Bangarappa was speaking to reporters in Sirsi, he also questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's absence in Manipur, which is facing a humanitarian crisis due to floods. He said that Modi is like a father to the country, so why didn't he visit Manipur like he visited ISRO during happy times?
