Department of Posts in Mangaluru to Host National-Level 'Dhai Akhar' Letter Writing Competition for Students

Mangaluru : The Department of Posts in Mangaluru is all set to host a national-level 'Dhai Akhar' competition, a letter writing event tailored for both school and college students. This year's theme is 'Digital India for New India', and participants can compose their letters in either English, Hindi, or Kannada. Contestants can choose between two categories: one for those up to 18 years old and another for those above 18 years. Whether using an inland letter or an envelope, the maximum word limit for the former is 500, and for the latter, it is 1,000.

To participate, participants need to address their submissions to the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Mangaluru Division, Mangaluru - 575 002. 

Submissions must be made before October 31. The press release also mentioned that cash prizes await the winners in each category, both at the state and national levels.
