Mangaluru: A bike rider lost his life when a bus collided with his vehicle on the National Highway near Arkula Dwar on Sunday morning.

The deceaased had been identified as Hamza Ramlan from Kukkaje, succumbed to serious injuries sustained after being thrown onto the road.

The incident occurred as the bus, traveling towards Mangalore, struck the bike from behind. Ramlan's wife, Raihana, and their child, who were passengers on the bike suffered only minor injuries. They have been admitted to the hospital.
