Mangaluru: Three passengers arriving on an Air India Express flight from Dubai had their plans foiled as customs officials at Mangaluru International Airport seized 969 grams of gold, equivalent to Rs 60,07,800. 

The concealed gold took the form of paste hidden in the shoes of two passengers, while another traveler stashed the precious metal in chocolate boxes and bedsheet packets.
