Karwar (DHNS): Excise personnel, on Wednesday, arrested a man on charges of illegally transporting Goan liquor near Majali check-post in the taluk. 

They seized 6.75 litres of Goan liquor along with the vehicle he was using to carry it.

Ravi Imbalu Naik of Ankola is the man arrested. As per Excise officials, assets worth around Rs 56,000 were seized from him.
