Inter-District Motorcycle Thieves Apprehended in Moodbidri, Stolen Vehicles Recovered

Moodbidri: Police Arrest Inter-District Motorcycle Thieves and Recover Stolen Two-Wheelers In a proactive operation, led by Moodbidri police inspector Sandesh PG, a team of officers has arrested a group of inter-district thieves responsible for a string of motorcycle thefts in the areas under the jurisdiction of Moodbidri and Murudeshwar police stations. 

The individuals who were arrested are Akash Kalki from Tumkur district and Virendra from Beerganahalli near Anjaneya temple. 

The incident unfolded as the police were conducting routine vehicle checks near Mahaveera College in Moodbidri. It was during this operation that they noticed the two suspects riding a stolen motorcycle. Despite their attempt to evade the authorities by making a sudden U-turn, the police managed to intercept and apprehend them. 

Further interrogation of the arrested suspects revealed their involvement in the theft of motorcycles from in front of Jain PU College in Moodbidri and in Murudeshwar. 

The stolen bikes have since been recovered by the diligent police officers.
