Kundapur: Gangolli police arrested five person who were engaged in playing cards near Dakuhitlu in the Gangolli village, Kundapur on Thursday. 

The arrested persons are Mithun, Ravi, Vikram, Ganapathy, and Annappa. 

However, the winner managed to escape during the operation. 

A sum of 2,850 in cash was seized from those who were arrested.

A case has been registered at the Gangolli police station.
