Mangaluru: A 74-year-old Tyampanna Rai, residing in Dharmanagara, Boliyaru, was arrested by the Konaje police for theft at Vaidyanath Daivasthana. 

The stolen item, a wooden pedestal with a silver prabhavali, was successfully recovered. 

Konaje police filed case against him under sections 454, 380, and 511 of the IPC.
