Mangaluru: A fatal accident occurred on Thursday afternoon when a fish transport lorry collided with a bike on National Highway 66 in Ekkur.

The deceased, identified as Abdul Rawoof, a resident of Suratkal, was traveling on his bike from Mangalore towards Thokkott when a speeding fish lorry struck him from behind. 

Despite sustaining serious injuries, Rawoof succumbed to death on the spot. 

A case has been registered.
