Mangaluru: The Ullal police have successfully arrested a notorious drug peddler associated with a criminal gang specializing in the distribution of Methamphetamine and LSD stamp drugs. In a significant operation, law enforcement seized 100 grams of MDMA valued at Rs 6 lakh and 600 grams of ganja worth Rs 30,000.

Commissioner of Police Anupam Agarwal has been identified the arrested as Ashith, also known as Ashwith or Ashu. The arrest took place in the vicinity of Madur Sai Mandira at Kotekar. Ashith was an accomplice of Shishir Devadiga and Shushan L, both recently arrested while attempting to sell illicit substances.

In addition to the drug seizure, law enforcement also confiscated a motorcycle valued at Rs 1 lakh from Ashith, bringing the total value of seized assets to Rs 7.77 lakh.
