Mangaluru: A 17-year-old PUC student ended his life by hanging himself at his house in Mangaluru on Thursday. 

The deceased has been identified as Harshad Kaushal. He was a student at a private college in the city.

The reason behind his extreme step is not known. 

Kankanady police have registered a case.
