Mangaluru: Two person were arrested by the CCB in Muloor, Ullal taluk, for the illicit sale of MDMA (Methylene dioxy methamphetamine) on Friday.

The arrested are Abdul Rahiman (42) and Mohammed Jiyad (22), both accused of distributing MDMA to college students and the general public.

Police successfully recovered articles with an estimated value of Rs 4.95 lakh during the operation.

Among the seized items were 35 grams of MDMA, valued at Rs 1.75 lakh, in addition to a digital weighing scale, a car, and mobile phones that were in possession of the arrested individuals.
