Udupi: The horrific murder of a mother and her three children occurred on Sunday in Tripti Nagar in Udupi.

The deceased have been identified as Hasina (46), Afnan (23), Ajnaz (21), and Asim (12). Another individual was seriously injured and has been admitted to the hospital.

It has been reported that the assailant escaped with a knife, and further details are yet to be known.

Information suggests that an unknown person, wearing a white shirt and a white mask, approached and committed the act.

District SP Dr. K Arun, DySP Dinkar,and Malpe police have visited the spot.
