Rabita Society to honour meritorious students on July 30

Bhatkal: The Bhatkal Muslim Khaleej Council (BMKC), popularly known as Rabita Society Bhatkal, is all geared up to hold its highly anticipated annual educational award function at Taluka Stadium (YMSA Ground) on July 30, 2023 at 10:30 am. The prestigious event aims to recognize and honor outstanding students who have excelled in various fields.

Breifing the media, Ateequr Rahman Muniri, General Secretary, Rabita Society said this year's award function will be more remarkable as it will be held in two sessions, commencing at 10:30 am and 5:00 pm, respectively. Additionally, a Nawayathi Mushaira program is scheduled at 9:30 pm.

The event will be graced by esteemed personalities, with the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) General Secretary and renowned scholar Maulana Fazlur Rahim Mujaddidi delivering the keynote address. Minister for Fisheries and Ports, Inland Transport, Mankal S Vaidya, will be present as the Guest of Honor. The ceremony will be presided over by Bhatkal Muslim Khaleej Council (BMKC) President Mohammed Farooque Musba, he added.

He further said the ceremony will also felicitation for three eminent personalities for their significant contributions in various fields. Maulana Abdul Aziz Khalifa Nadwi Vice Principal of Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama Lucknow, Former Principal Rabiya Usman Jubapu and Dr. Aliya Nazneen will be honored.

Convener for award ceremony, Yasir Kashimiji said Over 32 exceptional students from Bhatkal will be bestowed with the Rabita Excellence Award for their remarkable achievements. Among the awardees are top-performing students from various schools in the taluk, as well as those from schools located outside Bhatkal, including Gulf countries, who have their roots in the town.

President Farooque Musba said Rabita Society, a nonprofit NGO registered in Bhatkal since 1993, has been dedicatedly uniting Bhatkal-based NRIs in the Arabian Gulf Countries under one cohesive platform.

He expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event and urged everyone to attend and support the meritorious students.
