Mangaluru: Vittal police took action against the illegal stockpiling of 20 to 25 loads of sand on a property owned by Sudesh Bhandary in  Salethur, Bantwal taluk.

The seized sand is estimated to be worth Rs 1.25 lakh.

A case has been registered against Sudesh Bhandary, Sharief, and Narayana Poojary for the unauthorized stockpiling of sand.
